Andrew J See is a Brisbane based lawyer and consultant who specialises in all aspects of Australian and Fijian employment law,  including human resource management, industrial relations, workplace health and safety and discrimination. In addition, within Australia, Andrew advises in administrative and migration law.  

Prior to coming to the Queensland Bar, Andrew worked at Freehills Brisbane, (now Herbert Smith Freehills) where his clients were drawn from the mining, transport, manufacturing and airlines industries. Today his clients range from large international companies to individual employees. Andrew spends considerable time working in 'hands on' roles, assisting clients with all facets of industrial relations and human resource management.

Between 2011 and 2020, Andrew was a Resident Magistrate in the Republic of Fiji, where he sat on the Employment Relations Tribunal, the Tax Tribunal, the Environment Tribunal, the Customs Act Court of Review and the Judicial Services Commission Disciplinary Tribunal (Non-Judicial Staff).

Andrew commenced his career in industrial relations in the  Brisbane City Council and later was appointed Manager Public Sector Industrial Relations in the Queensland Government, before assuming the role of Counsel Employee Relations at Freehills.

Andrew attended day school at Brisbane's St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace and finished his schooling as a boarder at Marist College Ashgrove.

He holds degrees in Arts, Laws and Business Administration and has Diplomas in Industrial Relations and Business. Andrew is a member of the Queensland Bar Association.
